So after all the mads that can be done fiberglass wise what kid of motor do I need to build to get my fat butt out of the water on this thing... Dreams of BF's but not likely at my age a skill but at least something cool!

So your saying there's a chance! What really makes a ski BF my fx will be fully built this year except the motor so if I stick a well built stoker in there we might have something?

It is all about hull design and practice. Tons of people have chopped up skis and run big bore engines chasing the BF dream. Better off buying a used a/m hull. Unless you are riding surf then you can backflip just about anything with enough practice.
On a boat wake perspective , I've only road my ski one time . At full crack off a small wake I had that thing almost all the way to nose in . Scared me no doubt I'll admit . But I think it can be done I run a kawai 800 motor (I know it's better then a Yama ) lol
but I was incredibly surprised at how easy it was to get to that point . My opinion all about length weight pump and being tuned right A lot of people say the mag pump only makes a difference in chop but that thing hits hard period . Up until the point i purchased one I had no clue but worth every penny and prob never go back to a oem pump

So what's next for me my ski has a kawi pump with a stuffer and a 9/15 prop tubbies trim bond line raised Ada head and a red pipe....On a boat wake perspective , I've only road my ski one time .
