Flatbed jetski hauler build

Also, I see your jack stands used to start the ramp up some. I went that route too thanks to my buddy giving me the idea. Creating something out of wood that folds up and travels well was the plan until I stumbled on these half off. Worth it for $30 bucks or whatever you can get one on sale for!

Yea I quickly realized it’d be a lot better if the ramp was the same height as my stand for loading/unloading. I think I am going to build some aluminum legs that will be removable from the ramp. What’s your whole setup look like?

I finally got to test out the setup and I figured out that the ramp actually works pretty good for a 3rd bunk. The front I lifted 3” before this pic was taken and I didn’t install the rear lift until after this pic, which is why it’s so squatted.

I made a leg that folds out of the ramp too. It’s same height as my beach cart and dolly’s So that should make it a lot easier to use now. Also bought new wheels to instal.

Winch setup is complete. I was wanting to avoid mounting a winch to the bed permanently, so I welded square tubing to my head rack to use as a receiver for the removable winch on my beachcart with an adapter added on. I thought about an electric winch thinking a manual one might be a pain, but it’s a lot easier than I thought and I’m really glad I went this route instead.

Last think I decided to do was rob some hood holders off some vxr’s to keep the ramp from folding up on itself.

I like it! How big of wheels did you use and what is the spacing? I'm thinking about making a ramp to get my skis down to the lake level.

Thanks! The wheels are 3” from harbor freight and I put one every 14”.
