Flatwater Freestyle clinic

In an effort to introduce new people to flatwater freestyle, we will be offering a FREE clinic on Friday January 11th, 2008. We will be @ Riverfront Park (according to Google Maps) which is under Highway 40 on the west side of the Intercoastal waterway, should be no more than a 10 minute drive from the Makai. I have commitments from some big names to come out and help teach (and show off their lastest and greatest equipment), but I need to make a few more calls to see who else will help before I mention any names. This will be a great opportunity for people to learn the tricks of the trade from some of the people that wrote the book :woot: From boat set-up to set-up waves to whatever trick you want to learn......to putting it together for 2 minutes :scratchchin: we will cover anything you want!

I will edit this post with more details as I get them, but I promise it will be good times if you want to be a flatwater stud :chairfall:

We will be incorporating flatwater clinics and surf clinics into the Daytona Motosurf Freeride program. Anyone at any level of riding is welcome to come and take part in either clinics. Check back for more info... This is just another way we are trying keep the progression in our sport moving forward.

Yeah, just to be clear.... EVERYONE is invited and this will take place in an organized fashion to optimize learning for everyone... Remember this is like class, so come prepared and ready to learn as much as possible from these guys... You really can't get one on one help like this just anywhere...

If the rumors are true, there are going to be some big name freestyle riders and some awesome equipment out there. This really is an incredible opportunity. Daytona just keeps getting better and better. There's a little something for everyone to make it worth the drive. :bigok: :thewave:

Another thing... just to be clear. This will not take you away from the normal freeride activities. These clinics will take place the Friday before the actuall freeride begins. . We don't want anyone to miss the action saturday or Sunday!!!
