There is no way to avoid the fact that many surf riders do not like, respect or would be willing to tolerate flatwater riders or events. I have dozens of emails from people asking us to incorporate with the self established "flatwater Friday". This will not happen.
As of right now I am working with a property owner in Ocala to plan a "gathering" for us in April. It will be at Lake Weir in mid to late April. Last April was a huge success at lake Dias, so nothing will stop me from moving forward with this.

I don't quite understand... What do you mean by "incorporate with the self established FWF". Are saying peeps are asking you not to put on a ride in April and to just make it part of the Flatwater event in Daytona?

Depends on who you ask . Just because you may be one of the good guys doesn't mean everyone shares your beliefs.
