anyway,i pulled the cover there is absolutey no moisture.i guess the crank seal and tming cover gasket are both doing their jobs nicely.now i just gotta reseal it all and start it up.using permetex sillycone.im out of right stuff.

you hope it's dry if your starter o-ring is in good shape/sealed and your stator wires are sealed in the grommet...1211 works good but it ruins gaskets upon removal and is expensive...permetex ultra saves gaskets and is cheap 5.27 at walmart...

and how many of us have more than half a tube of 1211 laying around. one tube last a long time.

My starter & orings and stator wires also get 1211.
