flow control valve

I just saw something that would work and it was 14ish dollars. Npt 3/8th water flow fitting or something.
Its not really the same thing. The flow control valves are a pressure relief valve, what you do is tune them to begin passing water at about a 1/4 throttle (ie tune them for the pump pressure at that throttle load) to dry out the waterbox at the bottom end. A normal valve would just limit flow for the whole throttle range.

This tuneable pressure relief valve is $56 and is about as close as you can get application wise http://www.mcmaster.com/#9763k11/=v8adzn
