You could do it without reassembly with a coupler tool and a decent impact wrench.
Or put the crank in a blanket or towel, then carefully in a vice and crank the coupler off with a cheater bar very carefully. Heat the coupler, ice the crank.
I've done it before. Not ideal, but possible.

hehe. Reassemble the motor. Do rope trick on rear cylinder or buy a flywheel lock. Torch coupler and use a coupler remover or long bar. Disassemble motor. Replace seals. Reassemble the motor. Rinse and repeat:bad:

Thank you for that link. Every time I search here I always get crumby results. That might come in handy in the future.

I used a rubber mallet and it came off pretty easily. Great idea, thanks.
