Flywheel Lightening

Be careful. I bought one, 760 wheel, that was done by one of these guys. It no longer charged. The magnets got too hot from machining. Maybe dull tooling? I posted about it. Talk about a wild goose chase. Put in a non machined wheel and it charged! Put back in the machined and it didn’t charge. So I drew the short stick!!

It can happen on any flywheel and most guy won't be able to find it, I had it happen on a Jetinetics charging flywheel, they were noterious for losing magnetism, makes a damn fine paperweight thouh , it's not heavy enough for a doorstop.

Correct Alex is a Great guy!
He does all my 760 flywheels, both Charging and TL. Very High quality

@MTRHEAD I'm still baffled on how your flywheel lost magnetism?

P
Yes believe it or not it lost its magnetism or a whole bunch. You can still feel some with a screw driver but not much. You can google it. Get magnets hot for too long and they loose the magnetism.

It happened also to me on a 550 jetnetics and on a Vilder 62t wheel.

Heat, magnetic feilds from welding, being dropped all can cause them to lose magnetism.
