SXR flywheel

It doesn't matter what head you get. Kommander, Thrust, ADA, milled stock head. All will give you the SAME power increase as long as the compressions are the same.

I would do flywheel and a 50 dollar milled head.

how much is everyone shaving off the stock head? i did some rough measurements and i was thinking like .02-.03" off the head? but if someones done it i'd like the feed back on the compression of before and after and how much was shaved
Thanks

Nice! those look clean! now does he balance them too or is that not an issue on these little flywheels?

Also is this machined off as well? v

they told me lightened flywheel make you loss top speed in the chop

Probably a little bit but everytime you get water back to the pump in chop all that stress goes back onto your crank. Because that big heavy flywheel has all that energy going one way and the imppeler wants to slow down from hitting the water again. and what's between the drive shaft and flywheel the crank...
You can accelerate through chop with a big hub swirl and stuffer and a light flywheel no need to trash a crank.

................and no need to buy a $500 lightweight tbm flywheel....

send your oem to #zero and save $400 dollars. I have owned "insert name here' lightweight flywheels and I know that it varies from whoever you talk to but for some reason the 2 tbm flywheels I have owned, superjet and sxr flywheels, did not last more than 2 seasons. The jetinetics lasted 1.......And yes they were installed properly but thanks for asking. So I went back to oem on the sxr and lightened on my 850 big bore. I will be getting my sxr lightened here soon from #zero since his work is great and well worth the price of admission
