p

i think all my water is from my scupper and pump inserts, no actual hull breaches

Agreed the pump inserts and factory sealant are a big source of water intrusion the drive shaft tube also needs to be sealed real well the factory seal is very bad.

My drive shaft tube is already out and will use 5200 to put it back in as well as the aluminum tubes.

Man there are a lot of threads on voids. I need to write up another in detail but here is a over view from another thread.

Long story short but I installed two ¼” npt pipe plugs for the drains in the back of the ski. Inside the ski is a ½” piece of nylon epoxied in to accept the threads for the plugs. I have left some voids in the bottom of the ski in the foam that run from side to side and to the back plugs, been this way for three years and yes I have gotten water out of them even after sealing the entire thing very carefully.
I really don’t know why people wouldn’t do this after going through all the work to refoam. I should never have to refoam again and there was just a little extra work involved.

Superjets are too weak and crack...you will get water in again.

oh yea there way thin and flexible in the sides. i chiseled out all the green glue and filled the bondrail with filler/epoxy laid one layer of nytex and on my reentry/roll side i added some carbon fiber around the hole for the exhaust, with one last layer of thin glass over the whole side. looks great and its very solid. with foam it will be as rigid as the rest of the ski.
i also reinforced the crest of the pump cavity, chines, and bottom in front and around the pump. just stress points.

i think it would hold with no foam with another layer of glass..
