Focus T25/P90X3

Still with it...hit and miss for me. My wife's kicking ass at it, she joined a challenge group with her friends on FB and has been doing great. Me on the other hand...well I still try to get a few nights a week in. I play soccer in a league two nights a week so I skip T25 those nights and sometimes the night after depending on how sore I am.

@OCD Solutions pic of the smokin 21 day fix chick reminded me of this thread.

**Update**
Hit the new year running (figuratively)....committed to make some lifestyle changes rather than cliche' resolutions that last a few weeks after the new year. Since last posting in this thread the wife has become a beach body coach, and she's killing it (helps keep me motivated too). I restarted t25 and am into week 2 much more motivated than the last go round. I am just finishing up the advocare 10 day cleanse coupled with shakeology to get my diet dialed in and am seeing results I'm happy with (way more energy and down 8lbs in 9 days). The first time I tried this I was waiting until after work to get the workout in, when I was tired and motivation was at a minimum, which lead to me bailing on it. This time around I'm going to bed earlier and getting up and getting the workout in before work. Major culture change for me going to bed this early but in less than two weeks I feel way better than I have felt in a long time. Using reminders in my phone to eat multiple small meals and allow time on sundays to food prep for the week is helping a lot.

My goal is to hammer out t25, start to finish (currently in week 2 of 10) and then move on to the 21 day fix since the wifey already has it.

Curious to hear what's new with you guys @N3vrSat1sfied @OCD Solutions

Well Congrats to your wife on becoming a coach, and you as well sir for making a #realsolution!

I spent this Morning with Shaun T, myself. After completely the 3rd round of X3, I am kinda combining a bunch of programs right now to keep it fun. I did pre plan it though, here's first 2 months. Winter15.png I have 3 days of weights, 2 cardio, 1 active recovety/yoga. Doing P90X, P90X3, T25, Chalean Extreme, Body Beast, and some Turbo Fire abs and my wife is doing Piyo right now.

I have always found morning workouts to be better. I too seldom want to work out in the evening unless I'm bored and decide to pull a double that day. A.M. workouts kickstart you metabolism and give you that boost of energy for the rest of the day. The key like you said is going to bed early enough so when that alarm clock goes off you actually get up and do it. My alarm has the message "the joy of discipline or the pain of regret".

Keep it up man!

I get up around 8am, make myself a coffee, blend up some shakeology and wander out to my garage for a few hours of OCD business, come in, make lunch and head in to work till midnight. I haven't worked out once in the last 6 months and my waistline shows it.

I feel your pain, I took a promotion at work last year which moved me from a pretty active physical labor type position to a desk job. Everything I own quickly got tighter.

Beta done as of last friday! Crushed it. I borrowed the gamma workouts and started those yesterday. I weighed in last weekend for the first time in over a month and am down 17 lbs since starting right after new years which I can't complain about considering I'm bad at sticking religiously to the diet. 4 weeks of gamma then time to try something else.

I started T25 back in November I think. I don't follow the schedule, just get 2-4 workouts/week in as my schedule allows. Add in bike riding, a little running, other stuff and some diet changes and I'm down 20lbs since last summer. I want to get down another 20 eventually but need to kick up the consistency on my eating since I've plateaued where I am right now.

My wife and her workout buddies have gone through T25, P90X3, 21 day fix, etc etc since last May I think. I'm not sure which they like the best but variety keeps them doing it.

Awesome Darin,
Diet is always the hardest part, myself included struggle with that. My major crutch is alcohol (not a heavy drinker but I enjoy one or two a few times a week).

Variety is the spice of life, they say! Keep up the good work. Sounds like you got a great support group already but if you need some male input let me know, glad to help out. That goes for anybody else reading as well. If I haven't said this already, I am a beachbody coach so let me know if you have any questions at all from picking out the right program for you to individual diets.
