I need a some help on setting fuel tank in without rubbing motor. Did u put blocks on bottom so tank wont slide back plus straps. And does your stock tank fit crooked! If u have pictures.

I'm running thrust trim setup. Does your cable stick out when u turn left. If u have pictures for better way.

Yes and yes he's running a RN tank.

His tank slides back and almost got punctured by the oil pump block off plate. Yamaha used a little tank stop on the bottom of the hull. Not sure if that would be enough, what do you guys think ? Ideas ?

This is what i did on the XFS i built. Made a mold of the stock tank bracket and epoxy glued it in.

i just put a little turf under tank... tank doesnt move with straps attached

why did you turf exhaust hose. Looks pretty clean setup

I notice the battery is sitting higher the mine. did you bring it up to make fuel tank fit in better. I have the h20 water box and i gotta bring it up so tank will level out.

no its not raised... its just a really big battery ha

why did you turf exhaust hose. Looks pretty clean setup

Because I used a aluminum pipe for the exhaust hose and covered it in turf to make it look better. Thanks.
