So here I go with another controversial question about freestyle setup. I've got a hurricane C2 carbon with the hurricane adjustable footholds and I just can't seem to stay in them long at all no matter where I adjust them. They have a lot of padding on them but I'm thinking I need to change a couple of things.
Right now I'm wearing the slippery booty type boots that are really thin. I think I can't kick really hard with them because they're so thin it hurts like hell if i really kick. It's like stubbing all of your toes every time. Are you guys running boots with a more solid toe so you can get a good kick? Wrestling shoes or what?
Also what do you guys think about heel wedges? I thought about putting either the wedge type or a solid block to hold my heels so I really wouldn't have to kick much because my feet would be locked behind the heel.
Any opinions are welcome even if it's just to call me a noob or whatever haha. This foothold situation is frustrating the hell out of me though. I tried the footrocket ones and hated them too.
