Footholds for size 9 shoe?

I'm getting ready to put some footholds in my squarenose and I bought a set of the 24-7 universal kits for $90 off atlanticjetsports. In my first ski, 650sx, I made my own so they fit my foot perfectly.

These seem a little big and I definitely only want to do this once. Can anybody recommend a foothold for a smaller foot like size 8 1/2 - 9 1/2

I don't usually wear shoes when I ride so it seems like these might have to much room in them. Any ideas?

I wear about the same size as you and I had the REV footholds. They seem HUGE when you first install them but I put 1 inch of padding on the bottom and a layer of the 8mm stuff around the top. There was a ton of padding but they fit my foot exactally from the toe to the ankle.

If you use enough padding you can make these fit good but for comfort there is nothing better than the waterdawg's

I have had diggers in two different skis...they are my favorites. But as far as fitment goes, use padding.

Get some good pad from HT and layer it in the foot holds. I use the one inch stuff on the bottom and 8mm inside the hold like speedfreak said. You can get the holds really tight that way. Also, you can layer the 8mm stuff, then sand it down to mold it. It is really easy to shape that way, and it will help protect your feet.

I have Watercraft Factory and wear size 10 wrestling shoes. I have 1" padding on bottom - highly recommended for comfort/safety - and I think 2 layers of turf on top and fit perfectly.

xfts are custom built to your size shoe.best ive tried .i wear a 9 .and have trouble keeping my feet in. i just tossed the wrestling shoes and now riding with skate board shoes and can now lock in.

Your best bet is to attend a freeride and check out all of the different styles to see which fits you best.
