Footholds

I've been throwing around the idea of putting footholds in my fx1. I am a little hesitant to cut the ski up. It's not in perfect condition, but its unmodified. Would footholds bring the resale value down? IMG_4888.JPG

Good idea. The main problem is when jumping, the nose of the ski goes way high, and I can't pull the rear of the ski up without footholds or a strap.

That has more to do with how you're shifting your weight when you jump. You don't need footholds to keep the nose down. It's all body positioning. You can do a submarine without footholds. Just mess around with shifting your weight forward while exiting the water. You'll find the sweet spot. I'm also willing to bet if you do get footholds, unless you learn how to shift your weight, you will still be nose high. my 2 cents.
