Eagles nest camp ground is da place to be. Becareful duing low tide it gets real shollow right outside the ramp. Our crew also used beach carts to get to & from the water.

yeah I'm from Md and road out there alot till I hooked up with the wavejunkies. Most of them use the ramp at the end of sun set Ave.I don't think I'v ever road out there with out someone there. You can't ride in the surf but just as you go out the OC inlet head right about 1 or 2:00.Bout 1/2 mile out is the shoal.Usally kicks up best just after low tide.Your legal to ride out there.Get to the ramp early you should meet people headin out.Wouldn't go out by yourself.Few buddies of mine ride out there alot and are always lookin for people to go.PM me you # and I'll hook you up with them if you want.Sorry Mark didn't to jack your thead.

So how was it?

Sucks I had ski troubles and had to cancel.... just couldn't bring myself to be 'that guy' who shows up with a suspect ski and relies on others to bail him out.... :sneaky: :banghead:

MikeB,
I saw you'll be back around in a few weeks, hopefully I'll be back up by then and maybe we can catch up.

Eh.. I was "that guy" on the first ride out. Left the internal gas cap off and was able to putter all the way out to the shoal before figuring out why it was running like crap and soon enough not at all. That was fun getting the cap out from underneath the motor while three guys balanced the ski...

It was an absolute blast but in terms of surf you didn't miss much. We had to resort to 2-3ft non-breaking rollers at the shoal or hit the shorebreak @ 1-2 ft occ 3ft.... in two feet of water

Either way, wish you coulda been there :woot:
