Ford Truck Guys/Gals...super dumb question...

I feel dumb asking this, but I've done numerous searches on the web and all I get are a million Top Ten lists and none of them are remotely close or show any type of consistency. All I am looking for is a good replacement antenna for my F250. Two reasons: 1) I only listen to about 3 FM stations, but my favorite often gets scratchy and loses signal and it's really not that far from me where it's broadcast from. 2: Whenever I go into a parking garage (which is way too often going into Boston for my oncologist visits) the stock antenna hits the ceiling 'joists' every 2 feet and it's like the Chinese water torture. Truck is not lifted, BTW, they just make the damn garages too low.

So, I want a short antenna that can pull in signals better that the stock one which is 13 years old and pretty much sucks. Stock radio if that matters. I'm not an audiophile, I just want to be able to listen to my favorite station without static and without losing reception in such a short range from the station. Thanks in advance!!

It is what they have done on the broadcast side IMO. Lower watts that we all grew up with. I have listened to nothing but talk radio for 20 years pretty much. I finally had no choice to stream iheart, listenin, tunein from my phone into my radio.

I have COMPLETELY given up on getting AM radio on my home stuff! Just not happening the way it used to!

I even tried those fancy looking external circle shaped copper wire ones......still sucks!

Detroit AM 760, "The Voice of the Great Lakes", seems to be the last powerful AM station around.

I swear I can pick it up all the way to Roanoke somedays.
