Formula Jet Tote Opinions

I sent a message. 805 for one to my door. 1 week lead time. I asked for pics and a few details. Waiting to see if it breaks down and if can be towed by rzr. If so I'll be ordering one and will definitely put it through its paces

It breaks down. 2 wing nuts. Larger sand tires are like 60 extra. Tow option is like 60. Colors are 150ish I believe. Seems like a cool alternative to the Farrell fab carts that seem to impossible to source. And the aqua cart I have that is pure and total garbage.

I ordered one of their freeride carts today. First one in the US. It’s a two week lead time + one week shipping. The cart looks solid in the pictures Martin sent me, but I’ll post a detailed review when I get it in a few weeks. Fingers crossed.

Literally told me 1 week less than 24 hrs ago. Very strange.

Apparently he is following this thread. I relieved basically the same message as the op last night. Reassurance that everything is legit. Seems like a great alternative to alot of the other options out there. Hopefully it ends up being a well thought out cart that works well

Should be receiving the cart today. It has been an interesting process and I just got an email from UPS for import fees around $60… I’ll follow with how it all plays out soon.

Sorry for the very late follow up. I haven't had much time to properly test the cart after starting a new job, but I briefly tested the cart in my driveway and at the beach.
I bought this cart to make solo riding easier in places like Daytona Beach, so for what it's worth, here are my initial impressions until I get more experience with it.

TLDR: It works so far. It's expensive and it feels a little unfinished, but I like the idea of this cart - there isn't much competition for low profile carts with winches that I'm aware of. I will be attempting some of my own modifications to reinforce it because I'd like it to be more rigid under load, but it's functional as is. Martin at Formula Jet was very responsive - we worked through some communication errors related to payment and shipping. It took about 3-4 weeks to arrive at my door.

Initial impressions: Expensive, nice-looking beach cart that leaves a little to be desired in terms of structural design. Individual parts are solid, and I like the square tubing, but the overall rigidity could be improved. I feel that the tongue allows too much twist when loaded (reference the last picture), the handlebar assembly is weak where the grips are fastened, and the bow stop could be higher. As a result, I'll most likely reinforce the cart in a few places. Side note, I was able to verify that the cart works with the hitch hauler on my F150 with stock suspension (the height difference is awkward, but it works with a little finesse).

Total price: Approximately $1300 for this build. You could skip the red anodizing and handlebars to save about $200.
Note: There were foreign transaction fees, customs fees, and a PayPal fee but it came to roughly $1240 delivered + $60 PayPal fee. You could always forgo the PayPal fee and lose buyer protection, but I chose to pay the extra $60 for some peace of mind. This was apparently the first one sent to the USA.

Pros
- Most of the individual parts appear to be good quality.
- Lightweight.
- Easy to assemble and disassemble.
- Parts and modifications should be simple to add due to T channel square tubing.

Cons
- Expensive.
- Overall construction feels a little weak when loaded.

I'll add more feedback as I use it and we will see how it holds up in saltwater.

Can the handle brackets be rotated up 90 degrees? This way the bar is up on top of the "Tongue"? This may give it more support. This way the handle is against the alum, vs off the end.

fyi. this stuff is pretty common in manufacturing for automation enclosures and what not. might be able to find some brackets to stiffen up the bars
Thanks for the link the 25 series is just what I am looking for on my trailer build, it even has a snap in PVC cover in yellow
