300/440/550 FPP Blaster Ltd chamber in X2 pics

Location

I just test fit a Factory pipe blaster Limited chamber in my X2. Here are some pics if anyone was thinking of doing the same thing.

I need to modify the inside of the hood slightly to have it fit. One of the air intake/drain ducts at the frint of the hood needs to be cut about 2 inches to have it fit.

The other problem is it is just touching the hood seal. Is it going to melt it?

Other then that it fits pretty darn good. The tank is unmodified other then teh oil tank being removed. It does touch but not by much. Some slight modifying with a heatgun as is needed with the Superjet chamber and it will be fine.

No longer touching the hood seal and hood duct only needs to be cut about 1/2" - 1". I took the fuel tank out and realized it was pushing the pipe up about 3/4" Its almost perfect now.

Whats the benifit of running the Yamaha chambers? Do they hit harder on the bottom or improve power? They look cool.

Blaster Limited Chamber holds approx 7800 cc's
Kawi 750SX Limited Chamber approx 7500 cc's
SJ Limited Chamber spprox 7100 cc's

These are all approx values, i filled the SJ chamber up with water, then i dumped that water into a pail and filled the blaster chamber from teh pail and had to add 750 cc's more to get it full. I then dumped that into a pail and filled the 750SX chamber fromthe pail... this is where i spilled a little and had to gueestimate how much spilled... id say 100-200cc's

I then dumped it all back into the pail and emptied the pail witha pyrex measuring cup. 500cc's at a time. 500cc's wasnt exact with each pour but damn close.

Very scientific i know. But it gives you a rough idea. Ill post a pic with all 3 pipes laying next to each other.

Sorry, my computer took a dump. I haven't had it modified, and it looks FACTORY PIPE to me?? It actually does look like stainless. I still have it, but will be offering it to PM's as they are in order.
Later, gp
