FPP Type4 Jetting

Does anyone know the rec'd jetting for a FPP Type4 (or Riva Freeride) for stock SJ w/ dual 38's? It's not on FPP's site but they have the Type9, is (are) they the same?

If they are not the same what does everyone else run? I've searched but couldn't find anything comparable in the spec's db, etc.

Thanks.

That is dated 2000, so it might be a type 4.

Edit - Yep, based onthe way you are inscructed to cut the stock exhaust hose to the water box, I think it's a type 4?

Um kind of on subject, was there ever a type 5, 6, 7 or 8?

Aaron

those instructions are for the type 4

Main Jet: 140
Pilot Jet: 75

I am running:

140 main jet
stock pilot jet
stock needle and seat

I was running stock spring, but my pop off pressure was off the charts. cut the stock spring down until it checked out okay.

I don't know how many turns my carbs are set at right now though. Everyone's, depending on water temp, elevation, etc are going to be different.

running a ported 701, with ada head, It took forever to get dialed in, but it hits harder than my brothers ski with exact same set up but with b-pipe...Don't let some of these guys scare you. I ride multiple tanks of fuel through my ski a weekend and I ride it hard..its flying through the air more than its in the water...never blown an o-ring or coupler. (knock on wood)
