Is the MSD-TL a new 2 channel w/2 single coils? Anything less than the new MSD-TL are a waste of $$, The new MSD-TL systems are kick-A** nothing better on the market today, and will help with making bottom end power. Spend some time and call shop and speak with Radney that you called and I have some idea's that just might work very close to your budget if you can score on the Newer MSD-TL and 'B' Pipe system to start with. I'll outline some mods using the 62T engine as a base engine.

those fx-1's are so light that i cant even imagine a big bore or stroker in it. i rode one this summer with 61x/62t motor with freeride porting, b-pipe, and daul 38's and that thing freakin JUMPED out of the water I couldnt believe how much hit they have compared to a superjet with the same setup. you don't need much in the fx-1 to make it have a lot of bottom end. Of course standard issue is doing a K650 pump conversion, otherwise anything you put in there other than a stock motor is pointless.

do the kawi 650 pump conversion, it will be much much easier than trying to fit a raider pump in that hull. The raider pump is probably longer than the back of the ski and will prolly stick out. Besides with the 650 pump the only modifying you have to do is shave out where the pump shoe sits and bolts right up with no modifying to the bolt holes and you will have to use an X-2 nozzle which is longer to reach the steering cable, and already has trim built into the nozzle.
