Well there is a average pipe pressure every motor needs
Just to clarify, are you saying for example a PFP will need the same pressure no mater what motor its attached to?

And are "wave speed" and "pressure" the same thing? aka pressure wave

Cool to see a TPE motor hit the race circuit

Should have a finished proto type on the water in 5-6 weeks.
Going to build two versions.
Stock manifold and custom manifold
That's great from the research I did the outboards use the 3:1 pressure pulse system quite well to make alot of power.
With the 120 degree pulses stuffing the other cylinders. In theory you should be able to use the single to get some great power out of it. The Kawi doesn't use this same theory. And uses more like a big b-pipe manifold style. I looked at putting a Kawi manifold on my yamaha but after study I figured it was not as good as the original one. I am not an expert on this and I am really interested in what you come up with and what your dyno tells you

Didn't ATS_Aaron make some or did he just do a chamber? I know he ordered a run of 5 of the WDK chamber stampings to put together and sell but I thought he also posted about doing a custom manifold as well?

I don't want to make a billet manifold but by starting with a billet I can cut weld machine much better then a cast to get what I want.
And be less work to add a third cylinder to.
Wax I may be interested in making one r two prototypes after I get a basic design.

I heard a rumor that someone made a billet type 8 style manifold.
Anyone know who that would be??
And a contact for them?

ET made the first couple manifolds in billet for testing, he's currently working on making the molds to get these manifolds cast and into production in the near future. He's sending me one of the billet manifolds so I'll be able to do an on the water back to back test and see the gains over the PF manifold. On the dyno, the gains were substantial, I can't wait to test it out.

The Factory manifold flow for the front cyl. is a joke (flat pipe), seams like a twin pipe setup would be optimal looking at the sled hp #s . Pump and prop where the power is , once your past the mid/upper twenty's in pitch go up a pump size . Please disregard the above rantings in this post .

That's exactly what I am saying.

I know what your talking about, I havent considered it before but I know are your working it out and how you would be adjusting it. Would just have to find a way to get the mean pressure reading as the pulses in side there would be high.
