Heated the glue the chiseled it apart at the bondline with a sharpened gasket scraper. Then place two bottle jacks in the engine compartment to pry it apart.....lots of work.

Long over due on an update but.....all mounts mounts are glassed in the hull, scuppers are mounted, motor mounts, pump, rideplate are all in for good. If I could find the ambition to set up my total loss and have Brian from RCW lay down some turf she would be ready to hit the water..one of the days it will float

It looks like you stripped all plumbing out did you replace it with the same tubes? I am trying to install trim on a 05sxr and was curious if I could get away with using the bottom right tube for the trim cable. Or if I should drill a new hole and install a new tube

Thanks, when I had trim I used the bottom right tube..it made for a tricky angle for the cable but it is possible. For my thru hull stuff I used Riva aluminum 1/2" screw in fittings....on page 204 of this link http://www.hotproductsusa.com/Catalogs/11._Waterline_&_Bilge_Section.pdf. They are a bit pricey but they are exactly what you need.

I am lazy and never work on my jet ski...but it finally has a nearly wired MSD system...Motor is mounted and some turf is down. Maybe a week or so and she will be on the water!!!!

It has been up and running for a few weeks now, still a bit rich but I am slowly dialing it in..... the final weight comes it at 295# with half a tank of fuel....a sold 60lbs lighter than stock.
