There are some amazing engine builders at your disposal. I have never been fortunate enough to have the money to try any of them reall...yet. Give them all a call and see who matches the need for the green. I think you will be happy with most any reputable company in the PWC business. Blowsion, x-scream, Jetmaniac, Kommander, Jetworks, Group K, the list goes on... Like Ross mentioned your riding style with have alot to do with how you like your power. I would simply hurt myself on an stroked 1000cc at this point in time. You gotta build up to it and know what kind of riding you want. control of your ski is important, its hard to control riding a boat in the surf with a flatwater freestyle powerfactored 1000cc stroker motor. Your gonna go all over the place unless your TC. But for a 701 set up, there will be alot of guys who can do some top notch work and get you that extra hit you need, tuning your ski properly for its maximum potential is huge too with a 701

porting schmorting......

There's not much more I can do with my 701. Port/polish is one of the last things I intend to do. I'm gonna stay local.(jetmaniac/Blue)

But I only intend to do it on the advise of fellow riders. I really don't know what kind of performance benefits I can expect.

I've heard lots of "pros" .....sounds like you have some "cons"!
Let's here 'em!

After cleaning up my oem 61X and doing some mild porting I noticed some power increase (hard to say as I madea full package) and more fuel usage (that can be con - but as we say horses like to drink) :)
