Freestyle “laws”

Still not the point lol
And she didn't use lawyers when on the spot getting speeding tickets, her quote...
"Yes, I have gotten out of tickets because of who I am,” she revealed in the clip. “I have also not gotten out of tickets because of who I am.”

Another question. My kdx and her backie Chan are both aftermarket hulls which don’t have titles. I know people do some swapping and have there self a nice “superjet kdx” but what would the proper way to get this thing register and not have to worry.

Imagine you take the license plate off your 1970 Camaro and put it on your 2020 Camaro. We know this is not okay, the registration needs to match the VIN.

Imagine you cut the VIN out of the frame of a 1970 Camaro and weld it into your 2020 Camaro frame. We all know this is illegal.

Yet people think it's okay to do a HIN swap. There is a reason this site prohibits the selling of HIN plates with a title. You have to sell the hull with the title, what you do behind the scenes in on you, not this site.

There is whole thing from the USCG about moving a HIN. And that is simply referencing working on the boat, such as damage to the HIN mounting area, not a HIN swap. HIN Swaps are not allowed under any condition I am aware of. Really, every time one of us removes and reinstalls the HIN on the SAME ski, we are suppose to register the HIN modification with the USCG. We can have our skis impounded if the HIN is presenting as tampered with, even if mounted on the same ski. So my Laser engraved stainless HIN plates, those are suppose to have documentation with them.

The boat police aint dumb. Mouth off to them and they can simply say, that registration is for a Yamaha Superjet, and what you have there is clearly not. You wouldn't be able to get it back, as you have a motor with non-matching HIN numbers, a hull that is clearly not SMC and it doesn't match the original design of the Superjet and clearly has not been modified from the original ski it is titled as.

Do as JetManiac said. Bring your Manufacturer Certificate of Origin, or other documentation to prove it is home made, and register it properly. Just be mindful, if you go the homemade route, they might require a bill of materials to do it, so save all of those composite receipts.
