We are excited to announce that the Hot Water Tour will be making some changes to the way Freestyle will be run for the 2007 season. The following is a breakdown of what to expect in Freestyle.



There will be a 10 minute freeride session to get everyone warmed up before the 1st moto.

We will run two (2) motos for both Amatures and Pros.

Both motos will be run during peak hours of the day when crowds are the largest.

Amatures will start followed by the Pros.

Each rider will have a standard two minute run for each moto.

Positions will be draw with ping pong balls before the 1st moto.

The rider with the lowest score will start the 2nd moto and the best score will run last.

The combination of both motos will determine the winner.

We are doing our best. There is going to be some great payouts as well. I got some really good sponsors stepping it up this year. Ill have those posted after the holidays.

What did the World Finals and Nationals payout last year in both amature and pro freestyle???? Anyone know???

Lets see how many people enter and what the sponsors do for the Hot Water Tour in '07 and lets change that. Freestyle has been neglected for to long. Its HUGE right now!! I wouldnt be surprised if the Daytona Freeride has more than 250 riders at there event. Thats why sponsors should step up and put money back into the sport and support those that make them money!!

My last year as an Am (2004), I got a check from the IJSBA for my 5th place at World Finals, not much $ but something still. This year at Nationals I got 2nd and got an even smaller check! And for 4th at Worlds.........NADA!!!!

Im in for AM Freestye..... I think a payout would draw more riders, but Im in it just for fun though, I will be the goon rider out there.

That SUX parrdaddy. I cant believe you didnt get anything at the World Finals. Thats crazy!! Maybe if we step it up here in region 7 other promoters will follow our example.

If it wasnt for the fun of it or the love of the sport no one would be racing. The only reason I use to race was because of that awsome feeling you get right before and after the rubber band snaps. What a rush!! Then I got out cause of the $$ it took to go to these races. Now im back and spending more money go figure. I just hope there will be more turn out than years past on the Hot Water Tour. The vibe seems really good but i need your help!! If your going to a race talk people into going with you. The more racers we have the less you will pay and the more you will win. I am working the sponsors but i need your help with new riders. Its a group effort. Either way the tour will be like no other and i encourage everyone to come out and give us a chance.

If there is a Decent payout for am classes I will for sure make two events next year! Was fortunate this year to make one, the only thing that holds me back is travel costs and event fees! With payout that will help- Hot water Tour is the ********!

We are going to do our best to keep it as affordable as possible. I raced for a long time and i know exactly what every racer goes through with the costs of racing. Get on the mailing list for discounts and specials that we will do periodically throughout the season. You never know what your ganna get!!!
