Freestyle Freestyle tripple setup???

if the flow guard was the hidden secret weapon, why isnt everybody just throwing on a $300 flow guard instead of buying $2500 155 mag pumps? i have ridden a couple bad ass ported to the moon tripples. they have great power , but i would never want one in a flatwater freestyle hull for me. the WDK 1200 doesnt even have enough power to weight ratio as far as i'm concerned. any tripple would have to be something way out of the ordinary before i'd think it worthy.

So what's up with that pipe? Anyone body with pipe building experience have thoughts on that pipe? That would make it a lot easier to route a 1200 in a superjet.

There was a thread a few weeks back about where trips are headed. I have a buddy building a 66E based 5 mil stroker with max bore and porting supposed to be passing 1500 he hopes. Wel see. It's going in a blaster. no matter how it turns out it should be amazing.....

if anybody was running a tripple, which they are not, you would hear it a mile away, since it would sound way foreign to anything else. a few years ago the BUN guys covered their pumps with towels, so nobody would see they were using 155s. you cant cover motor sound with a rag.

But the towels are more sophisticated and expensive now..... :0)

We should talk about the "cover up" towels, not lame 155-160 pumps and flow guards
