French entrepreneur invents all-electric carbon fiber jet ski

true dat...but I personally need/want engine sound, its critical for me to get my " feel good braaap on " ....if I would be hovering around electrically it would not satisfy me , although good for environment and noise pollution

Here you go man, sound of formulaE
Some of the later ones are comical, but the first several are sweet.

$1.4 mill seems very excessive for what was created, although I have no R&D experience. With battery technology improving, I could not only see an all electric jet ski, but almost all vehicles becoming electric/hybrid. I think within my lifetime I will be able to text my car to pick me up, and have it drive me anywhere while I watch tv or something in the car.
My whole thing is that I really don't think it would take much capital to create an affordable aftermarket freestyle hull for the masses. I guarantee it could have been done for $1.4 mil. For people who say that there isn't enough market for a commercially made AM hull, I believe its all in the price point. Something below $2500 I think is a good price point that people would buy into.

7 grand is still far from affordable to the masses. Im talking about something that can be mass produced and sold complete for around or under $5 grand. I think something new and cheap would keep the sport growing like crazy. Kind of like the spark has done. Everyone wants to do flips, but not everyone has $10-30k.

$3495 and fits in your trunk! I don't see any back flips in its future though. Unless Mark Gomez takes it to the surf!

Seems pretty cool! Interested to see how the modular design works out. Has the potential to get people out on the water for cheap!

I really like the durability aspect of the Free Form, but Id like to see it in action! Wondering what a slightly modded 701 would be able to do on flatwater in the FFF
