Other front exhaust or side exhaust

I am debating running my rn exhaust through the stock water box and out the front left or through the stock tube and out the right side behind the carb. between the firewall and the carb. what do you think?

My only reservation in doing it on the right side behind the carb is that Darin said he hated doing the exhaust out the right side behind the firewall bc it interrupted flow to the intake when sliding to the right on a wave or even flat water.

My vote is for out the front left. I have never liked the right side exhaust either where you want to put it or when it rerouted out the back right side.

mmm exhaust in face...oil residue on everything else. I'm sorry, I hate to vote a third option but I can't stand side exhaust. There was a thread a while back that asked what people thought the worst mod they ever did to their ski was and a bunch of people said front/side exhaust was by far the worst thing they ever did to their ski's.

I have the exhaust exit right behind the tubbie, close to the firewall, behind the carbs & I have never noticed this. But mine is up as high as I could go, kinda under the bondrail.
Having it midway down the hull helps keep the noise down also vs the front side exhaust exit.
Little spray of WD40 liquifies the spooge on the hull while washing. Wipes right off.

Stock location front exhaust sucks........... I would never do it again.

I'd do rear side exhaust if possible, like xft. My front exhaust is the only one i've ever ridden that isn't obnoxious and in your face. Must be a 1 in a 100 kind of thing.

My friend just did dual fronts on his BOB.
Works surprisingly well.
