i couldn't wait to get rid of the nose exhaust when i was riding my square..it drove me nuts..
Let me know how it woks.
It seems that at slower speeds there would be water flowing by that would be more "hard water". With rear exhaust, as soon as you move there is very little water pressure on the outlet. Even at slaow speeds, with the stock exhaust, the water on the pipe is "soft water".
Mabey difficult to explain, just how I see it in my head.
x2...I had dual exhausts with TDR waterbox and it was the loudest, most annoying boat EVER..but I did like the way it ran
i thought it was going to be problematic to revert to my fx which has rear only but I havent noticed it one bit.....unless trying to do a 3 minute tailstand...
that's some crazy thinking right there. I do a lot worse things to my motor than tailstands with rear exhaust.doesnt doing tail stands for min or two with only rear exhaust cause engine problems?
Answer I found from most people it that front exhaust is worth it... just use the stock waterbox and set it up to run on both front and rear exhaust combined... at least this seemed like the polular answer... I usually go with the majority answer as I like to have multiple opinions before I end up going in one direction
I also watch lots of freestyle vids... if you watch most of the flatwater guys you will notice that most of them have that modification.
Welcome to the band wagon of mods.

dont you get cool brap stains on the side of your ski though? haha
Why do I see so many guys that have it then if it sucks as a mod? It must have SOME advantage?????
