Freestyle Front Exhaust?

Building my bob and debating on running front exhaust.
I have an ATP box, but the hull already has one of the SS front exit outlets on it.
Im running a XS1000 with a ported b pipe. (Yes I know PFP would be ideal)
any opinions on whether to just run it straight out with my ATP box, or sell the ATP and pick up a dual exhaust X-metal setup????
Thanks
Joe

Do you want people to like you?

Yes i don't want it to be obnoxious. i ran a FCV on my ATP and it sounded good but very annoying to people relaxing nearby. There was a noticeable difference w/ and w/out the FCV, but not enough of one to keep it on there riding all day. I don't like to give us a bad image.
X metal says this on their site...

"No more loud and obnoxious waterboxes. We now have the ultimate waterbox that produces less sound with a front exhaust than the stock waterbox without front exhaust! It's actually close to the sound level of a stock 701 with OEM waterbox, only with a great tone. The performance gain is noticeable, which is a major improvement from our original design. (More Torque) "
** Our sound testing was with two SS865 engines: one with front exhaust and one without. **

Front exhaust was a bull:):):):) bandwagon idea about 7-8 years ago. For some reason everyone jumped on it, me included, and it took a couple years before anyone would speak up about the tragedy.
They said it would reduce back pressure. They said it would make tail stands a breeze. They were full of $hit. It messed up the hull with exhaust goop, pissed everyone else off with the god-awful noise, and was absolutely useless.

Don't do it.

Mods can delete this thread. I got my answer lol.
Thanks guys. I'll stick with the Atp and straight out the back.

Next question...take out the front outlet and fill it before paint, or just leave it.

I'd glass it over from the inside, fill it in from the outside, and make it look halfway decent before paint.

x100 on NO front ex. stupid and couldnt put your girl on the hood of your ski and ride her around anymore unless you want to track her leg up, you can easily make an aluminum blockoff plate and bolt or rivet it in place with sealant of your choice. then you can always advertise when you sell it "easily convert to front ex!!!" people love pointless options

Haha that's great. Yeah I'll prolly just leave it with the cap on it. (now someone post that capping it is stupid cause it could come off and sink your ski)

If it has the thru hull ex fittting and thats capped and u want to leave that, i wouldnt, it might come off and sink you. Block off plate is easiest

okay it's decided. no front exhaust. and the outlet is coming off and the hole is getting filled. should look nice and clean after paint and remain kinda quiet....

I love my front exhaust, you guys are just babies and don't know how to set it up. Its frees up weight and space in the hull...not to mention it simplifies the ski, I.e less :):):):) to break.

I have it and it has it's positives and negatives, it frees up alot of room inside the hull and a little less weight but goddamn the smoke in the eyes sucks and loud as shizzy! My next one will not have the front exhaust for sure

I am a running front only, sx-r dry pipe to a TDR baffled out a homemade 2.5" outlet. When I first went front exhaust I had an non baffled TDR and it was ungodly loud. I welded bungs on the inlet and outlet of the waterbox, then drilled and tapped for 3/8" fittings. I just run two of my overboard water lines into the box. Not insanely quiet, but it keeps the neighbors happy.
