I'm looking for a cheap T until i can get a xmw box. Looking for a copper/brass/allum i'd rather not use pvc but i can not find them eather.

I was really just seeing if anyone knew of a cheaper alternative that was pre made. surched all over mcmaster and msc direct with no luck alos nearly every autoparts store and home improvment stores.. found some in the 3" x 3" x 4" and a 3" x 3" x 6" but the 2.5 x 2.5 x2.0 are like the dinosores:frown:

Part number 5520K76 is a 2x2x2. Will that work?

What the point in 2? I was thinking about ditching the rear exit and just running one front. Why does everyone run 2? Isnt it just more weight? Also how low below the bow line should i put the exit?

respectfully

2" for a few reasons, first to make things complicated along with a way to make money off a $90 T... ...also who wonts a huge hole in the side of the ski, smaller is better... ...and 2" is the OD of all the aluminum outlets for what ever reason:banghead:

it would be nice to have a hose have a slight taper through out the 2foot length go from 2.5 to 2. i'd assume it would also allow for a better flow/ turbulence (anyone know if they make such a thing, none custom order)

IMO rear exhuast is junk. i ride surf only and hate landing in a bunch of bubbles my exhuast makes giving me more cavitation and a lot of back pressure in the exhaust. i think the 2" for front is also becuase it allows more flow to the rear exit while running on flat water or maybe because its a shorter ditance to the exit
just my .02

I didnt really mean 2". I meant 2 exits. Why front AND rear. One seems like it should be sufficient. Im thinking ditch rear altogether and go front only. I think front looks a lot better then rear never mind weight issues.

not really...maybe if you make a exit that allows water to cover the hole...like a flush setup. mine is a tube like blowsions but i made it out of 2.5" aluminum and recessed one inch of it so its not too big of an obstruction

I didn't mean it's an obstruction.

In a turn that covers the exhaust outlet, the engine will bog down - most noticeably at lower RPMs.
