Front Flip

Is this even possible? I'm trying to think how you would do it... I don't live in surf, so hopeless for me, but can anyone shed light on the opposite of a backflip?

Put a reverse bucket on a stand up and trim. Hit the wave going in reverse full throttle, pull the trim, lean forward and hope for the best.

Or you'd be better off putting trim on a Hydrospace and hucking a flip off that.

Could you make your trim nozzle point down, then when you go off a wave put the pole all the way down and try to slam your chest on the hood so your feet would pull the back end up? If motorcycles and bicycles can do it it seems a jet ski could (as long as you weren't going off a wave that was curling and throwing you into a backflip). For some reason this has been on my mind after watching the extreme sports compilation over and over

I 100% believe a front flip is possible!!!

Maybe some sort of custom hull design.. some sort of a drag something on front that makes the front end dip like crazy.. mixed with a reverse trim set up on the back... and a lot of balls and the right set up???

Maybe on a big double wave jump.....launch off 1st wave, just clip ride plate on 2nd wave and throw forward. For anyone who likes to hit doubles, you'll know what I mean.

It wasn't intentional, but I've had it happen 3 times or so like you said, jump one wave but you go more horizontal than vertical so then the ride plate hits the next wave and throws you forward almost into a sub. Scary as hell when it's happened lol.

Think of what happens when a dirt bike squeezes the rear break hard in the air. Nosed in landing. Bikes have the benefit of the rear tire's rotating mass to aid in the rotation of the bike. BMX bikes don't do this, but they weight like 40 pounds. 300 is a big diff.

I think your head weight has to be infront/side and below pivot point at time of going up on wake already....

I do believe it is possible based on front flip subs accidently performed

^kinda what your saying I think. It seems the primary issue jet skis versus other sports have for doing a front flip is that our power is all coming out at the lowest point BELOW the CG, so it tends to try and rotate you backwards. If you could counteract that with an inverted trim system... I guess throwing yourself forward with the handlepole all the way down you risk hyper extending your knees....

@ 0:55 guy does a frontflip well kinda by shoving the nose in the water like a sub but going really fast and basically just hold on but it would ba a good start
