Super Jet Front foothold install help

After owning a Pancake Pete FFH for 8+ years and having it sit on a shelf, I've decided it would work far better actually installed on my SJ. Unfortunately every thread in reference to the installation of one of these little beauties is broken. So......how are they mounted? I'd imagine there are a few ways, but my preference is whatever method requires the least, or better yet NO, glass work.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately when SuperJETT was looking to move the site over to Tapatalk he cleaned up a bunch of old threads, all of them were in the Marketplace, This post your looking for was in the New Products section. Everything from 2018 and back is now gone.......... Included all For Sale Threads, Want to Buy Threads........................

As far as the PP FFH, I beleive it has to be glassed. I just installed the New RRP front foothold on my Edge, It bolts right in. Tomski also has a FFH that bolts in.

Thanks BK. I'll probably muck around with it and see if it can possibly be attached with fasteners somehow. All my fiberglass work ends up looking like stucco. But...I guess it WILL be covered by turf......

I'm not saying fasteners is the right way to install it... but I replaced my stock dash rivets with (flat head) bolts and nuts and used this style washer (Not this exact brand, similar). Mine are blue and I like them.

These are a good option if you choose to mount anything in your try with hardware.

It is probably better to install a front foothold with thickened epoxy, glass, etc.

I think I am going to just reinforce the PPFFH and hard mount it with fasteners. I may even put a door in it to hold my tow rope like some folks did. I prefer the look of the Pancake Pete with the swooping corners over just the straight 'block' looking ones...plus it's already paid for.

I added additional padding to my pancake pete hold so it covered more of the top of my foot. I had already turfed the dash prior to installing the foothold. I bolted it up and made the top of the turf longer so it covered the existing turf below it to give a cleaner look.
