Cut a hole the size you want and where.Maybe like the size of a half gallon plastic milk jug and use it to form fiberglass around it.Bond it into the hole you made.

I did my off to the side front slash hold by wrapping my wrestling shoe in like 10 layers of wax paper. I draped a wet piece of cloth over it for the shape....and then took that shaped peice and inserted it and glassed it in to a hole I had cut. Then reinforced it....

You know my response is going include pink foam and drywall mud.

Make the shape you want, layup over it and the hull as one piece, turf the result, bolt it on.

If you make it accessible like extinguisher holds, you can put in a small dry box with 2 plugs and a wrench. Not sure if you ride salt but when I do my tray soon here I'm going to work some tools into my setup.

Actually if you go with the retail and cut it in half option, you could make it accessible from the side.

I just want something for my foot at the corner, The way my Ebox is mounted I need access to the bolts. Cold Fusion Mount. I can have the Ebox out in 30 Seconds. If I need to get to waterlines the Ebox is in the way. But the Pink Foam just gave me ideas. I have a whole sheet I can play with to create the shape and then glass around it.

These items are worth the money. For the foot hold you should only buy the 1st one.

If you haven't read my other posts...
Rough it out of foam
Soften it with drywall mud or plaster
seal it with epoxy, easiest to dye it, I use foam brushes to apply w/o brush strokes, sand between applications if doing multiple layers.
wax it and your hull
lift the part
remove the plug
you can make the part from poly resin to save money, but if you are going to glue instead of bolting, you need epoxy mixed with fumed silica to bond the part to the hull

I was looking for the same, front left one foot hold for my freak. My ratchet strap is too low to go full hold style.
