Remember to give yourself room under for the turf and padding.

Why not start with full front hold and modify it to clear your rachet and etc.

If you look there is a layer of thick padding under. This is just sitting there. My Ebox uses the Cold Fusion Mount, you cannot see it but the bolts have to be accessed from the dash to remove it. So have to leave Access to it.

He would probably make you one. Then you could just mount to your gunwale and maintain full accessibility to your bulkhead and ebox bolts

I think holds like tomski is bolt on so you can still remove it just more bolts. I consider oem dash mounted too since the box corrodes to the studs and you can't get it off.

Have you considered an extinguisher hold? Not sure if you concern is the access or the space but I need access is the concern I bet you can still remove your ebox with a @tom21 extinguisher hold.
