Just my opinion - (I know the eboxes can be hard to get to in a BOB) - spend your time & effort in making sure you have a reliable setup. Then you won't have to mess with the box.
In the past three years I've had to do that exactly once.

Short of that, maybe epoxy some inserts to the sides of the bilge and bolt it there.

Strap it to the gas tank for now

Put it on end next to the battery and attach a single stability bracket from the side of the ski or top of the water box. Fuse access hole on top

Did that before - electronics above the flywheel - it was nicely installed and did not interfere with anything, but due to vibration the aluminium mounts broke off after few hours. You really need to dampen it or attach to hull.
