Fuel Delivery issue (I’ve tried just about everything)

Do you have one or two pulse lines on your crankcase? Does each carb have a fuel pump?

1 pulse line per carb, internal fuel pumps yes

All you guys who helped me out I really appreciate all the information. I took the carbs to Paul at LPW today, I was fed up with them! Long story short the back of the diaphragms were stuck to the diamond plate cover.. who would’ve thought. Yes I know rookie mistake but you learn something new everyday. Got everything back together and finally I heard it run for the first time!! Taking it out for the first time tonight hopefully!

So Nico,

What Type and Brand of Two Stroke Oil were you using that is so sticky and gummy?

Are you using a Vegetable Oil like Castor Bean Oil?

Not sure if it’s a bad thing with that being said but castor 927. Is that a bad option? Should I use something different?

I had that happen to one of my diaghrams recently. Only sticky on the outside. My conclusion was that the diaghram was just old and the material was failing.

99% of the time this issue is from ethanol fuel. Rarely oil related.
the rubber parts deteriorate from the ethanol attacking them, and they gum up.
happens far more than you know.
