Other Fuel line options

Why not choose the Tygon LP1600 - it's marine grade and suggested use is PWC
You totally can. It's harder to source and not as readily available.

If your worried about your fuel line catching your jet ski on fire. Stay inside.

I mentioned earlier. It's translucent. So you can see your fuel flow. If that's not important to you. Then get the black tygon line. If you feel the 2. The black is basically what yamaha uses/makes. I'd bet a decent amount of money that it's what high-speed and jet maniac are selling as yamaha line. Maybe not. Maybe they are paying the markup. You CAN hit up yamaha and buy their line. In bulk. And make a pretty penny

Question about the Tygon LP1200 fuel hose so highly recommended here. Looking at the manufacture site, it states the LP1200 is ideal for lawn/garden equipment and nothing about about marine applications. My limited understanding about marine grade fuel hose is that it has to meet certain flame resistance standards. I'm assuming the LP1200 does not meet this. Any concerns about this? Makes me recall a couple years ago, at a local lake, a PWC blew up with the guy on it and killed him. Don't know what led to the explosion, but certainly was fuel related. I'm about to change out the fuel line on my WaveBlaster. Thoughts???
Jet Skis or any sealed engine compartment boat, can blow up because gas fumes fill the engine bay. Then you start it up, and a backfire ignites the mixture, BOOM.

This is why inboard boats have Blower motors to clear fumes.

If you're worried about your gas line surviving a fire, you better switch to steel... sink the ski and pull it home.

Great......I just rode my old 650sx yesterday and it has cheap translucent blue fuel line that's probably over 10 years old. WHAT WAS I THINKING!!! I could have blown up!!

Wait a minute..........I actually check my skis over before every ride.

Nevermind
