650/X-2 fuel setup on a 93 X2

hey guys, before you read my question....i have searched for a while, and came up with nothing deifnite...

i picked up a 93 X2 a little while ago, and there is no sticker on the cover where the fuel petcock is. i searched around for any images, and saw that ON was back towards the rear of the ski, and RESERVE is towards the front of the ski. then, i read that the later years of X2 actually had the positions reversed....

so my question is this - on a 93, which way is on, and which way is reserve?

And while you're there run the line direct from the carb to the tank and ditch the failure prone selector. As for which is which, I have no idea, haven't had one on my 93 for a long time, thats where my primer bulb is.

I have never had a fuel selector fail, but I delete them just because it's less hose to run. But I agree, delete the phucker!
