Do you have the plastic or pot metal bed anchors? Years ago, there was a guy selling billet replacements for them on eBay.

I let my last set go with the truck figuring I could just buy more but I haven't been able to find them again. :(

but then you gotta take off the fill tube.

Aren't they flexible enough to go under? IDK about everybody but my tube can bend 180 no issue.

I have thought about making a deck but not as high and only needed for one ski weekly but two skis when needed. Something of similar design but only above the wheel an inch so I still am able to use the truck bed for things that are taller than the top of the bed rails without having to remove a big piece. Trying to coordinate something into a system that locks into a beach tote for easy loading with just one person. This is a good thread, hope some other pictures come in for more ideas but looks like my plans are things others are doing as well so that is good and that I am not too far off on how I plan to make it.

Awesome build! Thanks for sharing.

Only comment I have to offer.. on weight the sides can support. I picked up a www.diamondbackcovers.com cover that hauls 1600lbs on top and it only mounts in the center to the bed rails. Guys haul loads and two atvs with them all the time. Must be all the angles but somehow those bedsides holds the load.
