Is there a stock flame arrestor setup that will fit on Full Spec 48's mounted on Boyesen manifold?

I'll be sending you some Proks with this set-up.

Wamilton's make an adapter to run on the Full Specs as does Thrust Innovations. :sneaky:

Thank U Chik!!! After I get my ski back together I'll have to make a PC run so we can ride some-I would imagine the water there is ALOT warmer than here.

hey Gil, as long as you are barrell rolling and making it all the way around, regular flame arrestors work just fine............

I have been running K&N's or Tau Ceti's for years........ have found no reason to spend the money on the OEM 44 single FA's

Ya, but one flip over of the boat or a f'up flounder job of some kind and any water could go in regular flame arrestors. Then you sit there trying to start it and look like a idiot, or worse you have a bent connecting rod from a quick hydro lock. Been there, done that TWICE! I would play it safe with OEM IMO.

i wanna get duals too. I just have the one big OEM "bazooka" tube now. Still works good, but I think the OEM doubles breath more evenly.

It's worth noting that Ed Brazina recommends using round arrestors, Proks in particular for best performance of his carbs.
I have been using a Prok and a Blowsion AirForced with that water repellant sock over it without any problems.

I need to run what Ed recommends but I am running a home made plate that bolts the stock arrester to the 48's. The after market hoods bring in SO much water with just one good nose stab.

And as stated above one quick flop could result in a bent rod. Ask LOU his new Lamey only ran a few months before it needed a rod.
