full spectrum 49mm carbs

No I can't say I have been on a boat that has them. I don't know anyone who has a pair around here. You just don't see them at the races, I guess very few people own them in Southern california.

That tells you something. If a 701 ran better with bigger carbs imagine a big motor, stroked and big bore. The brand could not defy physics. If the engine wants it and you give it it will deliver.

Yeah, I'll secong that!!:highhorse: :clown:

I personally love my 48mm Riva powerbombs and it's all I wanted to say!
I'm sure all other carbs are great, but the best carburators anywhere are the ones that are dialed in properly.

Just my own .02

On that note, I think that adding a Lamey cylinder over a set of aftermaket carburators may give a bigger bang for your buck!

Probably the most noteworthy thing said in this thread so far. That's all for me! I'm done with this.

I AGREE 100% with U Steve.

That's it.

hmmmmmm, same price as the R&D.......... I dont see why they would market their own manifold version of the Dominator or Boysean......... especially when the R&D is $5.00 less........

Yes the Riva PB,s are good. They should be, they copied the Full Spec's. For you freestyler's out there its not air flow through a carb its fuel delivery. The more linear the better, thats what Ed's carbs are designed to achieve. You freestylers need a smooth responce not a light switch and thats what Ed's carbs give. But then again a setup is only as good as the guy who tunes it but some setups tune easier and better better than others. Its also, how do you know whats good.

DASA 48's are basically the same as the RIVA carb.

I've tried them as this is who I use for 80 % of parts fittings etc.. but unfortunately they have none in atm.. and are unsure of when a single 49mm can be ready so I thought I'd shop around and Blowsion are also out of Stock on a 48mm Novi single..

Thanks for reply
