funny project : Yamaha Flat deck......

hello, I try to explain and post some pics of my new project , so be cool with my bad language ....

in first I take old WXR run , if you remember this model, he was not very funny , and he has a bad balance with 2 person on board, cool , I'm looking for a small hull ....

I found a hull and start to cut ......to cut everything :smile:

after that I cut the hood, and try to find the best place for the new steering system.....

in same time , I start to foam the deck and the new hood

after some test , the handepole is too on the front, I've to make a new space . I 've made a plate in Carbon , and use a aluminium plate inside , to do something strong

6M6 / 61 x with adm 750/800 weld on, with + 6 stroker , and double 46 , Protec exhaust , lightened flywheel , +2 timing advance , Protec CDI, ....

all the hole are epoxied + rowing , the new handepole place, is very good, and it seems to be enough strong for futur hard ridind ahahaha

oups , I forget the battery place, I need to make a new one....inside

in same time , all the deck got carbon and epoxy resin, + primary painting on top and white coat on the hull

Did you use foam blocks, what foam is this ..??

and black painting on top with flat vernish and 2 carbon layer + flat vernish too , on hood

I think it's pretty cool and you seem pretty anal about the quality.

I use 2 kind of foam, in block ,I found it on road side hihihi , I don't know the name, but it's POLYURETHAN and 2 parts liquid foam .

I use the SJ SN hood hook , hard to fit in, but it's works fine and need to change the steering cable (too short) and use a WR 3 cable , a little bit long, but I need to move the end of cable on steering plate

I made a big spacer between hull and handepole bracket, and modify the stock spring and put aluminium pipe
