FV-Pro kit build

Just picked up an Fv-pro kit the other week and I am just starting to figure out what I need. This is going to be my first project like this, so any help or pointers would be great.
Right now I am trying to figure out every thing I will need to do before I can attach the top half to the bottom.
I know I need to install the cooling lines, trim tube, exhaust and steering but not sure what tubing would be best for this.
It already has the bulk head, motor mounts and pump mounts in place.
I will try to post some pictures later today.

Not sure yet, was going to look into it a little more. Any benefits to not foaming it other then weight?

I would atleast add some pink foam in the tray but leave a tunnel where the water can get out to the scuppers.

Have you seen where XScream puts their cooling lines? They are up high on both sides of the bulk head. I like it a lot better then being next to the midshaft. They also don’t use solid cooling lines, just short tubes where it goes through the hull and the bulkhead and they connect them with rubber hose and permanent squeeze on clamps. I would rather it been a solid line but hose just makes it easy I guess....

I would go with Stainless myself. McMaster has it.

I went with fiberglass tubes on my kit build. I figured its a better mechanical bond. Ive seen the aluminum tubes come loose. I also wanted to seal my tray in hopes that it would stay dry and it has. I made my own carbon fiber tube for the exhaust tube. There are videos on youtube on how to make tubes out of carbon. If your going to strictly use it for flatwater Id set it up like Tony sets them up.

Made 3 different sets (3 different builds) of carbon pipe exhausts for under the tray.Love doing them but a lot of work for anyone.Not sure of the time commitment it takes especially for a first build.lts also a glass hull,so the aluminum won't get eaten up.Keep it simple...

Thanks. It's my first puppy.

Haven't gotten much done but have all the cooling lines, steering cable tube and exhaust in. Last thing I need to do is put the scupper tube in and tube between the bulk head and pump tunnel. Also got the motor together and rebuilt the carbs.

Forgot to update this but have basically everything ready to attach the top and bottom half. Just waiting to get the epoxy, so hopefully putting it together at the end of this week.

Got the two halves attached on friday. Going to pull the clamps tonight. Was pretty nervous about putting it together but went pretty smoothly. Might have been because I had 2 people helping.

I asked Tony what he uses and got a couple tubes from him. Was going to go with thickened epoxy but glad I went the route I did, gave me a little more work time.
