Most of these parts are from Mcmaster-Carr. The rest of the stuff was pieces I had lying around. This pump steering/trim section is only 1/2 of the system. The upper handlepole is the other 1/2. I use a 2005, long throw Superjet cable. I'll try to break down some of these pieces so it'll make sense for ya.

Man that would be fantastic. I have the 96-07 cable, with the bracket to be able to run on an Fx1 or 08+ stock pole. Its already been installed. Currently waiting on my x2 nozzles to arrive. Thanks for helping us peasants out Flash!

I had the same issue with the first one I did, I thought I didnt get the pump angle correct with the firewall, turned out everything is in perfect alignment

I solved the issue by using a protec blaster nozzle and a yam Raider trim ring and reduction nozzle

It kept the nozzle form sticking out so far I did have to make a 1 inch steering cable extension though

as far as adjustment goes you can see the pics of how I did it

I use it as a Fixed trim by adjusting the nut on the back of the tray, For surf riding it takes a substantial amount of up thrust to keep from subbing

How did you use the Waveraider trim ring without the trim arm on the ring hitting the hull? I love the idea of doing that so the steering nozzle doesn't stick out so far when you're using a Kawaski trim/steering nozzle. I thought that maybe using the Yamaha Waveraider trim could be done, but it looked like it would hit. I assumed that's why people use the Yamaha reduction nozzle with the Kawasaki X2 trim/steering nozzle.
