I've seen a few superjets with it and thought it looked good and it wouldn't obstruct the pump when doing tail stands. Just to clarify its an underwater side exit in the rear of the hull, not the Blowsion type one up front.

Also, I wouldn't run a hotrods crank. Sbc crank from JetManiac are better quailty. Unless that is your current motor?

Is this going to be a lake ski or ocean ski?

Ok, if you run total loss, it must be in a sealed box for ocean use. The rocker kit is great for surf, just keep in mind it will had a little weight to your ski.

Stick with a rear exhaust, but upgrade to the larger SJ sized tubing. Mine doesn't have any issues with tailstands, like the superjets sometimes do. I recommend SJ exhaust all the way through. RN SJ waterbox, long rubber sj exhaust tube, and equivalent size Al tube through the hull. For the scupper; run it out the back, or not at all. What type of "freestyle" do you plan on doing? Why not just start with a purpose built freestyle hull? Depending on your goals, the combination might need a bigger intake tract. Send an OEM crank to Crankworks for rebuild, instead of using that Hot Rods Crank. Post pictures, so we can watch your progress.

LOL for real though. He's investing a ton of money info this build and could have a nice freestyle/Freeride hull instead...

How many times have people tried to turn an FX-1 into a full freestyle hull, only to sell it and upgrade to an AM hull? For just banging around the lake and doing old school freestyle, his ski will be pretty sweet.
