FX-1 Hand Holds

Maybe just leave them out? The only time I use mine is to remove the hood. When I do hood tricks I grab the rails or front of the pole. They also hold water.

Yeah, when I try to do any of those tricks on my Krash I just grab the handlepole tube and it seems to work fine. I’ll probably leave it alone for now and see if I feel like making them at some point. If anyone has a set of these Blowsion holds I would absolutely buy them though!

not sure how good your skills are but we used to order the 750 Kawasaki handholds ( only ones u could still get ) and just heated them up and molded then to the superjet hood ...
its a tad work but once they are molded they look like they belong there ...

3 D print would be amazing !!!

What Kawi handholds? Can you post a link?

I have a set if you could find some one to 3d print a set I would lend them to you . They don"t fit as well as I would like but my hood was done by blowsion back in the day and thier work was not the best back then. I will post a picture and you can judge for yourself if it"s worth doing.

I tried adding foam around the flanges to try and make them fit better but thats as far as I got. I haven't come up with a solid way to fasten them. Here are pictures of how they look. Keep in mind blowsion did this hood over twenty years ago all I did was repair and repaint thier work.20231026_165527.jpg20231026_165510.jpg20231026_170114.jpg20231026_170251.jpg20231026_170304.jpg20231026_170319.jpg20231026_170106.jpg

Very interesting. I would love to figure out a way to 3D print or make a mold of those but I don't know how you would go about that... Are they fiberglass?
