FX-1 FX-1 parts

I've got a bone stock FX-1 (even has the stock thumb throttle on it), my question is which parts are fx-1 exclusive and what can parts can i get that are "superjet" parts but will fit on the fx1? also, does anyone have any aftermarket parts for an fx1 that they would be willing to part with?

Most of the parts are FX1 specific except the motor, carb, intake, electronics and exhaust. there are other little things that will fit on the superjet but those are the main ones

Ride it a few times before you start buying stuff, figure out what you want it to do before you start just throwing money at it. They are quirky, not everyone falls in love with them!

This is very true, give it a couple rides before you give up because at first I thought the FX1 was gonna be to skinny for me but the more I rode the more I loved it, now I love it, and it's my favorite hull!

Are you sure it`s an fx1...? ;)
Yes I'm sure it's an fx1

And I'm in no means giving up on it. I've ridden it plenty of time so far and just want see if I can't get the handling better so it's not so squirrelly.

As far as the finger throttle goes. Mine is backwards so it faced the thumb and we tried turning it around but it anchors into a hole in the handlebars. I suppose I could screw a hole for it to anchor into on the other side or just buy an aftermarket finger throttle

Buy a metal one and keep it handy because when you least expect it , you will smack in to the plastic one and make bits out of it.... & Tubbies will go a long way to taming the beast.

Yes, tubbies will increase stability and are the easiest of the major mods. Next would be widening the tray - and while you have the saw out you might want to put a pump in it, that's a big step though. Maybe a pipe first and make sure your going to stay together!
