Super Jet FX-1 pole on a RN

I am wondering if a FX-1 pole will bolt right up to a RN, and if so....are there any differences besides the FX-1 pole being -2". Also, are the brackets the same? Basically, I need to know if I have to do any modifications to use the FX-1 pole on my RN and if it has to be a RN bracket.

Uses a different top piece and therefore a different steering cable. You will get less throw with the FX1 pole and cable. The FX1 pole is the same as the 2008+ superjet pole so if you are talking about swapping it on to a late model superjet there is no difference.

The steering cable is different on 96-07 RN. You'll need a 08+ or FX-1 steering cable or other fix to make it work. The cast upper section of the poles are different.

I have an fx pole thats been shortened....its all sanded down ready for paint

can bring to the freeride if you like and will let it go cheap

i just put a -4 fx1 pole on my square nose and i think the cable is too long. From what i read i need either a 08+ or fx1 cable, correct?

I have a 99 cable on my 08+ pole same as fx-1 and you need x-metal adjustable steering to make the cable work. Works good and has good throw.

Its an old xmetal plate, and yea just a hacksaw and some scrap aluminum.
